Formocha

Came here and got the lychee green tea. Flavor was good but nothing outstanding. My buddy got the taro smoothie and he said it wasnt real taro being used. We also got some wheel cakes. Those were pretty good. I got the matcha one and it had a nice sweetened matcha flavor. My friend liked the custard one alot.

Formocha has some really unique cakes and offers on it available which are nice. The bubble tea is alright but I would say there are better options.

Service was good today. The oolong fruit tea was superb I usually like the taste of real tea over the fruity flavor. I will be back for sure. The croffle ice cream thing was not good . I will need to try those wheel cakes next time just note I was told it takes 25 mins to make even if you just order one. So it's made from scratch good to know!!!

The food is amazing and it’s not to sweet so it like perfect sweetness. Also an amazing place to study,draw, write a book or read a book while sipping on some boba tea and munching on cheesecake or this round cake thing. 10/10 making this my study spot for now on

The staff are very nice and efficient:) I am just a bit disappointed with the taste of the bubble tea and also the wheel cakes. The tea tastes too light. The wheel cake is full of flour / milk powder flavour. I am pretty sure it has nothing to do with the staff who prepares them, it is more due to the ingredients the shop opted to use, and also the formula. I guess they settled for cheaper ingredients for more affordable price... Also, as the name “Formocha” implied, I expect it to be an authentic Taiwanese boba shop. I am a bit surprised to see simplified chinese on the packaging of the wheel cakes.

The original bubble tea is perfectly creamy with great tea flavour!! Enough sweetness to it with 25% sugar. Tapioca was cooked well. I tried one of the matcha wheel cakes, not too sweet, and the batter was nice and fluffy. The matcha flavour didn’t stand out enough for me though.

Wheel cakes drew me to order. They were great especially the house made taro & red bean filling. Not too sweet - perfect! They were best eaten right away. They were NOT easily reheated. Not good the next day. Do NOT order more than you can finish the same seating!
